Intensive Care

Why intensive works

Immersive treatment and rehabilitation, several sessions a day, spaced with rest so the brain can consolidate. It is what we do best.

Repetition

The brain changes through focused practice repeated often enough to matter.

Spacing

Rest between sessions gives the brain time to consolidate what it practised.

The Right Dose

Intensity is matched to your capacity, so you progress without crashing.

What to Expect

Immersive Sessions

Multiple focused treatment and rehabilitation sessions each day, designed to compress weeks of care into a concentrated intensive block.

Spaced Consolidation

Breaks are built into the schedule so the brain has time to consolidate gains.

Measured Daily Progress

Re-testing throughout guides the plan as you change.

Real-Life Performance

As you progress, we move to harder, more complex test batteries that mirror your real-world demands at work, school, or sport.

Lingering Symptoms

Individuals with persistent post-concussion symptoms like brain fog, dizziness, and light sensitivity that haven't cleared with standard care.

Who is it for?

The intensive format is designed for those who need a concentrated, high-dose approach to neurological recovery.

Accelerated Recovery

People who want to make progress in a shorter time.

Traveling Patients

Patients traveling to Toronto from elsewhere in Canada or abroad seeking a compressed, intensive week of neurological rehabilitation.

Formats

Five-day intensive: the full immersive week.
Multi-day intensive: a shorter block, sized to your assessment.
Weekly half-days: for local patients, spread across weeks.

The right format and length depend on your assessment. Intensive weeks usually book three to five weeks ahead.
